Lauren Babb is a consultant at TBWB. Before joining TBWB Lauren spent the last seven years on a series of federal and state campaigns. She was a regional organizer for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) in Los Angeles, where she led AFL-CIO labor run campaigns. Most recently the 2016 presidential election for Hillary Clinton in Iowa, Florida, and Nevada.
Lauren is a graduate of American University and a political management graduate fellow at the George Washington University. During her time in D.C, she worked for a political communications firm producing direct mail during the 2014 election for NextGen America, and the Iowa Democratic Party. Lauren also spent some time on Capitol Hill working with former Michigan Senator Carl Levin and Representative John Conyers Jr (D-MI). Lauren is a 2012 Obama for America campaign veteran who assisted in the development of a program that registered college students in their home states throughout D.C. and Virginia.
Lauren is a new resident of the City of Concord. She serves on the Economic Opportunity Council, a tripartite advisory board to the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors and the Community Services Bureau of the Employment & Human Services Department (EHSD) which helps regulate the Federal Community Services Block Grant. She is also a commissioner appointed by Supervisor Karen Mitchoff to the Contra Costa Commission for Women & Girls. Lauren has a passion for uplifting the community and giving back to those who need it the most.
