Jake grew up in the East Bay Area and studied Political Science and Communication at UC Davis. Go Ags! At Davis, Jake discovered his love for campaign politics while serving as a Regional Field Director for a local congressional campaign. It was on the campaign trail that he first learned the power of grassroots organizing and targeted community outreach.
Prior to joining TBWB, Jake also spent time in Washington D.C., working on Capitol Hill and learning about the positive impact that public funding has on communities nationwide. His experiences there helped shape his interest in expanding funding opportunities for local public agencies.
During his time at TBWB, Jake has worked on a range of different types of ballot measures, including bonds, parcel taxes, utility users taxes, transient occupancy taxes, marijuana measures and more. In his free time, he enjoys attending concerts and traveling all over the country.
