Calah grew up in Santa Ana, CA and studied political science and sociology at Chapman University. At Chapman, Calah discovered her passion for leadership and giving back to her on-campus community through admissions, specializing in first-generation college students and youth programs, mentorship in the orientation and housing departments, as well as governance and women’s empowerment in Greek organizations
Calah became passionate about political research and campaigning during a semester in Washington DC, where she interned for a national security and intelligence think tank. After this, internships for a political party and a political consulting firm solidified her career goals. Recognizing the importance of educational involvement and community leadership from these past experiences, inspired her to take interest in public agencies.
At TBWB, she has done work for cities, school districts and other public agencies and is excited to do more. Calah resides in Oakland, CA and in her free time loves to try new restaurants, travel and catch the latest horror film.
