Dan Dimendberg
Raised in Israel and Connecticut, Dan grew up with a strong interest in both
American and global politics. He joined TBWB in July 2007, but his
professional career in politics began at age 18. Drawing his inspiration
towards campaign life from interning with Bill Bradley’s presidential
campaign in New Hampshire, he left school for a semester to work for the
Pennsylvania State House Caucus. Over the next three years, Dan spent his
summer and winter breaks working on primary and special elections in
Pennsylvania, New York and Virginia. After graduating college in 2003, he
moved to Washington, DC to attend the Graduate School of Political
Management at George Washington University. Once again, he took a semester
off, this time to direct the field program for Congressman Tim Holden’s 2004
re-election campaign. In 2005, seeking a change from Washington, DC life,
culture and dress code, Dan moved to California and organized for various
candidates and ballot measure campaigns ranging from the $4 billion Los
Angeles school bond, Measure Y, to leading the League of Conservation Voters
Independent Expenditure campaign against former Congressman Richard Pombo
(CA-11). Dan currently lives in San Francisco.
