…”Measure M produced the best campaign mail. Who could resist opening the brochure that featured a young girl blowing her nose with the caption ``Feeling congested’’?

THE PRESS DEMOCRAT: SANTA ROSA, CA

by Ann DuBay

Thanks to a collaborative countywide planning effort that resulted in an expenditure plan that balanced highway expansion with rail and bicycle trails, Sonoma County voters approved Measure M on November 2. 2004.

As general campaign consultants to the Measure M committee, Terris, Barnes & Walters directed all aspects of the campaign from coalition building and message development to production of the campaign’s direct mail program and collaboration with Paul Kinney productions on the television advertising.

Every campaign requires a strong committee to succeed, and Measure M was no different. By raising the funds required to implement the media program, securing crucial endorsements countywide, and providing ongoing local feedback, the Measure M campaign committee was crucial to passage.
